Appropriate for beginners. Previous climbing experience is welcome, but not required. After going over gear for the day the group will head to a local crag to cover some basic movement skills and the fundamentals of managing risk and sustainability in the winter climbing environment. Tips from a qualified instructor are one of the best ways to accelerate the learning curve and really begin to have fun while ice climbing! Participants may choose to take this intro clinic multiple times and will benefit from plenty of individual feedback and coaching from seasoned climbers throughout the day.
